The Application Server as Well as the Smart Client use the Windows Event log to log important events. You can use the Windows Event Viewer to see those events.

To start the Windows event viewer type eventvwr.msc on the command line or in the search  field.

The Application Server logs to the Windows Application Event Log and uses the Event Log Source RedbexApplicationServer , the Smart Client uses the Event Log Source RedbexSmartClient.

To see all entries created by the Application Server you can create a custom view that filters for that source. For that go to to the Action menu and select Create Custom View .
