The Application Server provides the possibility to quickly search for features. Table 1 list the search criteria that can be combined. A search can be performed with any combination of these criteria but at least one of these criteria has to be defined.

A list of domains that shall be searched. If given the search is restricted to features of these domains only. If not given features in all domains will be searched. |

A list of feature types to be searched. If given the search is restricted to features of these types. If not given features of any feature type will be searched. |
Feature subtype |
A simple wildcard string that limits the search to features with matching subtype names only. If not given features of any subtype will be searched. |
Feature name |
A simple wildcard string that is matched against feature names. |

No matter how many features match the search criteria the search will return a maximum of 100 features. If a search results in more than 100 matches the server will inform the user about this fact but still will only return the first 100 features.
To be able to use the Feature Search a user must have the System Permission List all Features (27).
