This feature type is used to represent a diary of events, i.e. a log of points in time when important actions or conditions where encountered. E.g. when doing vibration monitoring you might want to log points in time when specific events (e.g. excavation works) took place. The event diary can then be used for better interpretation of vibration measurement results.
