Meteorological situation

Scroll Prev Up Next More

This feature type is used to represent some key characteristics of the meteorological situation at a specific point. Meteorological parameters are usually parameters that are measured over intervals of time, e.g. the amount of precipitation on a square meter in the last 24 hours. The time span for which a single observation of this feature type is valid is to be interpreted by the user.

Description

Mean sea level pressure

MSLP

Mean sea level pressure (MSLP) is the atmospheric pressure at sea level or (when measured at a given elevation on land) the station pressure reduced to sea level assuming an isothermal layer at the station temperature.

Property type: Numeric

Default Value: null

Display Unit: hPa

Validation rule: Value ≥ 850 and ≤ 1100

Display Options: Decimals: 1

Pressure

PRESSURE

The atmospheric pressure measured at the point of observation.

Property type: Numeric
