When a sensor observes a real world phenomenon (that is represented as a feature within Redbex) at a specific point in time  the result of this observation is some data that is connected to the feature.

In Redbex we simply use the term observation for observation results, it should be clear form the context when observation means the actual result of an observation or the act of observing.
