If you have a rich view structure with possibly hundreds of views, it might become tedious to navigate through the view structure every time to get to the few views that hold the features you are interested in. To save you some time the Application Server provides the possibility to create view bookmarks.

View bookmarks are a convenience feature for clients accessing the Application Server. They are simply links to a specific view that the client can show in a flat list for faster access. Of course even though the bookmarks are displayed differently, when selecting a view bookmark you are really selecting the view and the view members are evaluated the same way as if you would have selected the original view.

View bookmarks are only available for the user who created them i.e. they are personal. You can assign a name to a bookmark, if you do not the path of the bookmarked view becomes the name.

If a view is deleted all bookmarks pointing to this view will be deleted as well.
