Axis section drawings display data along a chosen axis reference system. Axis section drawings are generated in a specific scale i.e. the distance of drawing elements in the row content of the drawing is corresponding to the real-world position of features or observations.
Redbex renders axis section drawings in DXF (Drawing Interchange Format) in version 2013.
An axis section drawing is structured in a drawing header, rows and a drawing footer. Rows consist of a row header, a row legend and the row content. Figure 1 shows this basic structure of an axis section drawing.
