The Application Server uses certificates (electronic documents that use digital signatures to bind a public key with an identity) for secure and trustworthy communication between the Application Server and the clients connecting to it.

The Windows operating system provides all the tools for creating, installing and managing certificates. While dealing with certificates is surely an advanced task for Windows system administrators, Redbex makes it easy for you and creates a default certificate on installation of the Application Server - this allows you to have basic security even if you do not want to go into the details of certificate management.
