In Redbex real world phenomenons are abstracted using features. One real world phenomenon may be abstracted into one or many features in Redbex. E.g. the ground water table in a specific area may be abstracted in Redbex using one or more features of type Ground water level.

Features are the main entities in Redbex holding most of the valuable data stored in the system.
