This section describes the process of installing the Redbex Application Server on a computer system. Being a software that acts as a server the Application Server is perhaps not as easy to install as some other software products, however if you follow the procedures as described in this section the installation is straight forward.

Note that membership in the local Windows Administrators group, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete the Application Server installation.

The installation process consists of some pre-installation tasks, the execution of the Setup Program and some post-installation tasks, we strongly recommend to follow the sequence of tasks as described in this section.
