Each instance of the Application Server is run a Windows service, each Windows service executes in the security context of a user account. The user name and password of the Windows user account that runs the Application Server Windows service must be specified when running the Application Server Setup Program (and is NOT created by the Setup Program).

All instances of the Application Server can use the same Windows user, however if you want more isolation you can also run each instance as a separate user. Refer to chapter Creating a Windows user for details.
