While it is far out of scope for this Reference Manual to provide a guide on how to configure the operating system on which the Application Server is hosted we want to point out a few things that you should definitely think of after installing an additional Application Server instance

Firewall

Firewall systems help prevent unauthorized access to computer resources. If a firewall is turned on but not correctly configured, attempts to the Application Server may be blocked. You have to make sure that the Application Server can be accessed from the computer where you plan to install the Application Server.

Disk space

Make sure you have enough disk space available for the data the Application Server instance manages. Especially check the Binary directory.
