For matching features found in the source files the %Text% import type will use following logic:

The import will only search for matches in the set of features that are member of the same data domain as the target data domain set in the import definition (including all sub-domains). Additionally only those feature will match where the feature type is the same as the feature type this import type suggests for the data in the sources (see topic Column mapping).

If a spatial reference system is set in the import configuration (see topic Column mapping) this import type will only match existing features if the spatial reference system of the existing feature is the same as the spatial reference system defined in the import settings.
