The Light version of the Smart Client is not registered with the Windows Installer Framwork and can therefore not be uninstalled from Programs and Features (This is the tradeoff for being able to install without Administrative permissions in Windows).

To uninstall the Smart Client you should perform following Actions:

•Delete the Smart Client Light Application Folder: The Smart Client is installed to the LocalApplicationData folder of the user who runs the installation. This is usually a folder like: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\redbex\Smart Client\Light. You can just delete this folder and all of its contents.

•Delete the desktop icon: The Smart Client Light Setup Program will create a link to the Smart Client executable on your Windows desktop.

•Delete the Start menu entries: The Smart Client Light Setup Program creates several entries in your Windows Start Menu. You can just delete these entries.

•Remove File associations
