Each approval obligation in a stage of an approval workflow is always in a specific approval obligation status. Table 1 list the possible states together with a description.

If stage fulfillment criteria is fulfilled by other approved obligations the approval obligation state for the users whose approval therefore is not needed |
Automatically approved |
The user did not approve within the approval time-span and auto approval setting was on |
Automatically denied |
The user did not approve within the approval time-span and auto approval setting was off |
