This raster layer type layer type uses the Microsoft's Bing Maps API to download and display maps as raster images. It supports most visualization types known from Microsoft's Bing Maps Webpage.

Microsoft's Bing Maps API provides maps only in one specific Projected System (WGS 84 / Pseudo-Mercator, EPSG: 3857). Therefore layers of these types will only be displayed in the map view if the Coordinate system setting in the map view settings is set to this specific coordinate system. (in Redbex the WGS 84 / Pseudo-Mercator, EPSG: 3857 system is one of the predefined projected systems installed with every Application Server Database).
The Bing Maps API can only be accessed with a Bing Maps Key which you have to define with the Global Setting Miscellaneous: Bing Maps key. Without this key you won't be able to see Bing Maps. Please refer to Microsoft's online documentation for more information on Bing Map Keys or contact support.
