While it is of course theoretically possible to install two Application Servers (on different computers) or two instances of the Application Server on the same computer and configure them so that they access the same Application Server Database this will definitely destroy data in your database. Therefore you should always keep in mind: One Application Server (instance) - one Application Server Database.
