After starting the Application Server Setup Program the program checks some launch conditions such as the version of the operating system, the available memory and others. If one of these launch conditions is not met the Setup Program will show an appropriate message and will exit immediately.

After that the Setup Program will automatically install some software prerequisites The Application Server builds upon some other software products, that must be installed before the Application Server can be installed. The Setup Program will check if these software programs are installed. And if not will install them during this step.

If needed the Setup Program will try do download the prerequisites directly from the Internet, therefore if the prerequisites are not already installed an internet connection is mandatory to be able to install the Application Server.

The installation of the software prerequisites (including the possible download from the Internet) may take several minutes to complete.
