The observation filter control block is used in different places to define an observation filter used by the application server to limit the observations shown or used by some process.

The actual layout of the control depends on which parts of the observation filter are enable din the context that the control block is shown with. E.g. an axis filter is not available for features that have no spatial support on observations.

With the Filter type box in the time filter area you can select which kind of time filter will be used. Depending on the selection either a control block for static or dynamic time filter will be shown.

With the Filter type box in the axis filter area you can select which kind of axis filter will be used. Depending on the selection either a control block for a static or for a dynamic axis filter will be shown.
