The value over time chart type allows the definition of any number of pins. Each pin has its own settings described in the following.

Setting

Description

Sub-graph assignment

Defines on which sub-graph the data of features connected to that pin will be displayed. You can choose from the ten predefined subgraphs. N

Y-Axis assignment

Defines if the time series resulting from feature connections to this pin are drawn against the left or the right Y-Axis,

Table 1: Settings for pins

For each pin you can define layout settings that will apply to all time series resulting from features connected to that pin. These settings are only respected if the global chart setting time series coloring defines so.

If layout settings are defined directly on a connection they will overwrite the settings defined on the pin. If the layout settings are not defined on the pin and also not defined on the connection the system will try to get the layout settings from the display settings associated with the charted property. If the system cannot find any defined layout setting it will choose default values.
