All property types have configuration options that define how the property and its value is displayed (in user interfaces, reports etc.). Besides user defined display configuration the property structure might define default display settings. The effective display settings used are determined by a first match approach.

Note: Display settings are defined for a property but need to be implemented by the client that displays data.
