Report bindings bind features to a report definition. The report type may (and will in most cases) limit the bindings to bindings of ones specific feature type only.

When the report definition is executed the reports will usually be created for all bound features.

Features can be bound to report definitions directly via container features or via views. Container features and views are expanded into features when the report is executed. If the report type limits bindings to one specific feature type only those features that match the feature type will be expanded.
