The Text Viewer window is a document window that can display any textual information. The Smart Client uses the Text Viewer in may cases to display textual information from different sources.

The text window cannot be opened from the Ribbon since it always displays information that is available in a specific context. The displayed text in the text window cannot be modified.

To save the displayed text to a file select the Save text to file button (figure 1:1) and specify the location and name of the file in the appearing save dialog. This will save the all of the displayed text as a UTF-8 encoded text file..

To copy the whole displayed text to the clipboard select Copy text to clipboard (figure 1:2), alternatively you can just select a part of the text and user Ctrl+C to copy it to the clipboard.
