The Vertical Coordinate Systems window is a document window used to display the defined vertical coordinate systems. The window can be opened from the Ribbons System Administration Tab. The window will display all vertical coordinate systems. Note that vertical coordinate systems are defined globally and do not apply to a specific domain.

All users can list the available vertical coordinate systems. To add modify or delete coordinate systems you need the system permission Manage coordinate systems (24).

The list view shows the defined vertical coordinate systems with their name and description. Coordinate systems that were predefined by Pöyry Infra GmbH and cannot be modified or deleted are shown with a shield icon (figure 1:1)

Double click an element in the list view or select Edit from its context menu to open up the Vertical Coordinate System window, where you can modify the coordinate system.

You can delete the selected vertical coordinate system by selecting Delete from the context menu. Note that you cannot delete vertical coordinate systems that are used by any horizontal coordinate system.

To create a vertical coordinate system select Add from the window's toolbar, this will open the Vertical Coordinate System window for a new coordinate system.
