Most data transfer initiated by the Smart Client is Data Transfer to the Redbex Application Server. Besides that there are some other online services the Smart Client need access to. Table 1 summarizes the Firewall requirements for the Smart Client.

The Redbex Smart Client supports logging to the cloud based log service logentries.com (by default the Smart Client is also configured to use that service). To use this functionality the Application Server must be allowed to communicate with the API of this service. WMS, WFS Services |

When rendering map templates that are configured to use WMS or WFS Services the Smart Client will directly access those services. To access these services the appropriate Connections must be allowed. |
