To quickly navigate between open windows via the keyboard the Smart Client uses the Switcher that becomes visible when you press Crtl-Tab or one of the other keyboard shortcuts listed in table 1. The switcher allows you to easily select one of the currently open windows and activate this window.
When the Switcher is opened with one of the Ctrl Keyboard shortcuts it is in document window mode, meaning that repeatedly pressing Tab or shift tab while keeping Ctrl pressed will loop through all open document windows. When the Switcher is opened with one of the Alt keyboard shortcuts it is in tool window mode, meaning that repeatedly pressing F7 or Shift + F7 allows you to select one of the open tool windows.
To switch between open windows you can use the Keyboard shortcuts listed in Table 1. When the Switcher is in Document Window mode you can also use the arrow keys to navigate between open document windows. Also when the Switcher is opened you can use the mouse to select a Windows (both tool windows and document windows).
