The Application Server can validate property structure instances using user defined validation rules that are defined as part of property structure configurations.

Validation of property structures initiated directly by user request or alternatively initiated by a stored job definition.

Validation of property structures is performed as job. Validation can therefore only be successful if the user requesting the validation has the Create and modify job system permission.

Validation of property structures is always performed in the context of the user requesting the validation. This has following implications

•Only property structures for which the accessing user has read permission can be validated

•Validation results will only be visible for the initiating user
