Each culture has different conventions for displaying dates, time, numbers, currency, and other information. The Smart Client will use culture settings defined by your Windows Operating System configuration in the Regional and Language dialogue.

Therefore if you want to use different formatting for date, time, numbers and other culture specific data modify your settings in the Regional and Language dialogue and (re)start the Smart Client afterwards.
