Pins in a chart definition can be defined as dynamic (figure 1:1). If a chart contains at least one dynamic pin the chart definition will show a drop area for dynamic content (figure 1:2). Whenever you drop features on the bindings for all pins flagged as dynamic will be changed, currently bound features will be unbound from those pins and the newly dropped features will be bound.

This is especially useful if your chart definition has several pins showing different properties of the same feature(s), e.g. when having a chart definition with three pins showing the X, Y, and Z coordinates of a 3D measurement point.
