The name is an important characteristic of each feature since the name is shown whenever features are listed and can be used to match external data to features (e.g. during import).

A feature name is a non empty Unicode string a maximum length of 200 characters. When creating or modifying a feature the Application Server will automatically remove leading and trailing white space characters (see table 1) as well as any control character. Control characters are formatting and other non-printing characters, such as ACK, BEL, CR, FF, LF, and VT (Unicode code points from \U0000 to \U001F, \U007F, and from \U0080 to \U009F).

If a feature is member of an identity domain the feature's name must be unique among all features that are member of the same domain.
