Features of class platform feature can contain other features. The assignment of a feature to a platform feature is exclusive. I.e. if a feature can only belong to one platform feature, it cannot belong to another platform feature at the same time. Features linked to a platform are called members of that platform. Platform relations may be hierarchical. I.e. a platform feature might have member that is a platform feature itself.

The feature type of the platform feature defines which feature types can be member of the platform. The Application Server can list all members belonging to a platform feature. If a feature is member of a platform feature the system can determine the platform feature.

To add a feature as member to a platform feature the user must have Modify (1) on the platform feature and Modify (1) on the member feature.

To remove a feature from a platform feature the user must have Modify (1) on the member feature.
