The general settings of a report definition are common to all report types and specify how a report is created and where it is stored.

Defines which file format will be used to store the generated reports. You can choose between following formats: •PDF: Adobe Portable document Format Version 1.6 •DOCX: Renders a report in Microsoft Word 2007 format (also known as OpenXML) - it is a zipped, XML-based file format developed by Microsoft for representing word processing documents. |
Split content |
This setting can be used to split the report into multiple files. Following options are available: •Do not split: The report will be saved as single file •Split by feature: Each feature in a report will be saved in a separate file. •Split by observation: Each observation will be saved as a separate file. |

The document folder feature in which the report files will be published. |
Use versioning |
If selected following logic will be used when publishing files to the document folder: If a document with the same name as the new report document is already in the document folder the new report document will be published as new version of this document feature. If not selected each report will be published as a new document feature. |
