In this step you can define where all the files for the Application Server are installed. Usually you do not need to change the default location chosen by the Setup Assistant.

This Setup Program will copy all files the Application Server needs to execute into this directory. Additionally the instance configuration file for the primary Application Server instance installed and configured by this Setup Program will be stored in this directory.

If the directory already contains an instance configuration file (usually from a previous installation of the Application Server it will try to read this file and will use the found configuration to preset options in Setup Assistant. When a instance configuration file is found the Setup Assistant will show a Messagebox.
