Users can add annotations to map views. Annotations are graphical and textual elements that are shown at specific locations of the map. The user will draw these elements directly on the map view and they are stored alongside the map view definition. Figure 1 shows an example of a map view with annotation.

Redbex supports point, line and polygon annotations, the layout of these annotations are defined in the Map view configuration.
