Presentation definitions can include an observation filter that allows you to define which observations shall be shown in the presentation.

The filter can be defined  as a static or as a dynamic time span based on the observations sampling timestamp. If a presentation definition is persisted as presentation template the observation filter will also be part of the presentation template.
