The Create Sensors window is a modal window used to create sensors within a domain. The window can be opened from the context menu of a domain in the Data Domain Explorer.

The window is used to create one or more sensors, in the domain the window was started from.

To create sensor types in a domain you must have the domain permission Modify sensors (12) and the feature type permission Modify sensors (1) on at least one feature type the sensor type you selected is associated with.

The Domain box shows the domain in which the new features will be created. Note that the selected domain is the domain from which the window was opened.

The Sensor type drop-down list defines the sensor type of all sensors to be created. A sensor type has to be selected here to enable further controls.

In the Sensor names box you can specify names for new sensors. Each sensor must be separated by a new line. Note that the name for a sensors is limited to 200 characters.

To open the sensor immediately after creation select the Open first crated sensor check box. If you create more than one sensor this will still only open the first created sensor.

The Ok button will only be enabled if a sensor type and at least one sensor name have been defined.
