This row type can be used to display the spherical projection of planes. For using this row type you have to have a feature with two numerical properties in the observation property structure expressing either dip direction and dip or strike and dip. A third classification property can be used to classify the planes according to the setting of this property.

Usually you will use this row type with a data-combination, i.e. you will combine the planes from a section in the tunnel in one spherical projection diagram.

Setting

Description

Feature type

The type of feature that will be shown in this row.

Observation property

The property whose value will be displayed. Only properties on level 0 of the observation property structure can be used.

Date format

The date format used when date and time values are shown.

Display type

Defines what text is shown. Options are

Value

Feature name & value

Feature name, Observation date & Value

Observation date & Value

Image DPI

Defines the DPI of raster images if the shown value is an image. Note that the system will automatically scale the image to fit into the row, this setting defines number of pixels used. For smaller drawing sizes it is recommended that you use lower settings for DPI.

Default: 150

Validation > 50 < 600

Maximum value text length

If numbers of characters needed to express the value of the observation property is greater than this number, the value will be shown truncated.

Default: 100

Status date

The date and time used to define which observation's property value shall be shown if the spatial support of the feature type is on feature.

Text / symbol position

Defines where the text and/or symbol are shown. Options are:

Left: Text and symbol are shown left aligned to the left marker

Right: Text and symbol are shown right aligned to the right marker

Center: Text and symbol are centered between left and right marker

Default: Center

Position markers

Defines the visual appearance of the position markers. Options are:

No markers

With arrow: The left marker is shown with a right-pointing arrow, the right marker with a left-pointing arrow. If left and right markers are at the same position a down-pointing arrow is shown.

Without flag: Left and right position markers are simply displayed as lines

Default: With Arrow

Color overlapping positions

If set the colors used for the position markers are automatically changed if positions are overlapping.

Default: false
