This document window is used to display a geographic coordinate system. You can open the window from the Coordinate Systems window.

The Name text box is a mandatory and shall give the coordinate system a unique identifier.

From the Vertical coordinate system drop down list you can choose one of the predefined vertical coordinate systems to associate with the current geographic coordinate system. From the Horizontal coordinate system drop down list you can choose one of the predefined geographic coordinate systems.

The Proj.4 definition text box cannot be edited but shows the definition of the selected horizontal coordinate system in the syntax of the widely used Proj.4 coordinate transformation library.
