The Approval Template Assignment window is a document window that shows an approval template assignments (which is a feature directive). You can open this window from the Feature directives window. Multiple instances of this window can be opened at the same time but only one window can be opened for one specific approval template assignment.

The info bar of the window shows the feature on which the approval template assignment directive is defined.

The Template for feature drop down list lets you choose which Approval template shall be used for the features in the feature context shown in the info bar. The Template for observations drop down list lets you choose the approval template for observations.

If you select Autostart feature approval an approval process will be automatically started with the selected template as soon as a feature in a matching context is set to ready. The same goes for Autostart observation approval.
