The Start Page is a document window that can be configured to show various information. The Start Page is automatically opened whenever a user connects to an Application Server. If you do not want the Start Page to open automatically you can turn this behavior off with the Smart Client Setting Do not show Start Page.
The Start window can be configured to show different information by placing widgets on the Start Page and by configuring the settings for each widget. Users with the Permission Manage users and user groups (0) can define a default Start Page configuration will be shown to all users who did not configure the Start Page for themselves. The Default Start Page can opened and configured from the Ribbon's Administration Tab.
