The PDF Viewer is a document window that can display PDF files. The Smart Client uses the PDF Viewer to display PDF files downloaded from the Application Server, e.g. when double clicking a PDF  file in the Downloads window.

The PDF Viewer window cannot be opened directly from the Ribbon. The modifications applied to the displayed PDF (e.g. rotation) are never saved back to the original file.
