Redbex’s internal messaging functionality allows you to send messages to Redbex users. E.g. messages can be triggered by specific alarm conditions. With customizable forwarding rules users can configure how messages will be delivered, i.e. which media is used to forward the message. SMPP is a standardized protocol for sending SMS to mobile phones. Redbex implements an SMPP client that can connect to many different providers for sending SMS. This way Redbex can be seamlessly integrated into most existing mobile environments.
