There are some settings that you can use to tailor the Smart Client to your requirements. These Smart Client Settings are stored in the roaming directory on the Computer where the Smart Client is run and are stored for the currently logged on Windows user. Since there are only few Smart Client Settings a backup of these settings is usually not needed.
Note that after changing some of these settings you need to restart the Smart Client for these settings to take effect.
